They have another look at income support provisions to make sure they provide a sufficient standard of living to disable people. They always make sure about communication service, resources and flexible option which are available for them. They provide education to get easily employment. Disabled people get employment service which is easy to access and easy to get. They give information by making a good decision about employment for disabled people. They provide access to ongoing support, guidance and tools to help support the role as a fair and equitable employer to decrease the facing barrier in the application process when applying for the job. (Ministry of Health, 2001)

Health and wellbeing

They are assessing individuals and get all health needs support on appropriate and timely not only for impairment-related. No one gets difficulties to access health service because of impairment. For disabling women and girl they get sexual and reproductive health service. When they went to access in specific health service (rehabilitation and recovery) they provide early diagnosis and ensure their need as an individual. They get support to communicate where they didn’t get barriers to stop from joining in the community because of impairment. They involved in sport, art activities and recreation to reduce social isolation and raise overall wellbeing.

Right protection and justice

They treated fairly as like as other non-impairment by the justice system, perpetrators, observer, or satisfying a civic duty such as the board of judges’ service. Who needs service and support specific impairment will receive them which is helps to protect their right. They recognized the person individually before the law. They have prevention and policy law about violence and abuse. Those who discriminated, affected by violence and abuse they will continue to have access to support to speaking up or complaining confidently about their right and get justice. They are continuing their need and right by ensuring the safe place for those who may be a risk of violence and abuse by giving community awareness and caring relation. All the employee in the justice system must understand their disability and treat them with respect. They made a good decision and give good information about justice to stopping the violence and abuse and protect the human right.

According to their need, they have access to warm, safe and affordable housing to meet their necessary to make daily life easy and they can make their own choice about where they can go and fully participate of their families and community. They can feel safe when they take means of public transport when they go around. They can freely and easily participate and contribute without any barriers like access to shopping, bank, churches and park on an equal base with non-disable people. Who needs the private transport service, there is a specific transport option to access which are affordable, readily available and easy to use.

All the people accepted and know disability is a part of the diversity of the human experience and they respect them and treat with dignity around us and society takes them more broadly. They show their attitudes towards disability are that negatively stereotypes stigmatize and discriminate. “There is an appetite for seeking out a way to change attitudes and ensure that basic human rights are upheld for all people”. They can choose the society prospected like how they identified, acknowledge and respect to the disabled people by their culture or ethnicity and not with disability.

Choice and control

At the time of the becoming, older people make their own choice and control what is right and what is wrong for them in their life but sometimes some people need support in some situation or might be all time. They always make an informed choice based on what is available with them, rather than reach an agreement about for a less desirable option because that is all offers to them.

They encourage the disable people to involve in decision making as service which is used as staff in the delivery service, planning, management and evaluation within all service where disabled people access. (Ministry of social Development, 2016)

1.2 Advocacy practice about the incorporation of New Zealand strategy

Health and wellbeing

A person who is living with a disability might need extra help for their better health. Health care assistant plays a vital role to maintain the health and wellbeing of the client. For the disability people, they get difficulties to carry out everyday tasks for themselves. We have to recorded and report if there is any change in their health and wellbeing to which we support. We can involve the client in community activities like, art and craft and different games which may improve their living style. We can promote healthy behavior by maintaining diet plan and support in their daily living activities. If we are caring the young people them we can do self-care plan which can help to enhance their health and wellbeing and manage their stress. We can develop a regular sleep routine and diet plan to maintain health and wellbeing. Encourage them to involve or engage with positive friends and family. We can engage in reflective practices like meditation, bus trip with another client, church/mosque/temple and yoga.

Education is the key priorities for every human being to maintain quality of life. We have to give education about their condition, treatment, further possible result and side effect of treatment to maintain quality of life. We have to orient then about policy and procedure of the facility. During care also we have to educate them about the benefit of having care. We have to give educated them about local health service and how to access their and what kind of support given by the facility to access. According to their disability (intellectual, physical and sensory impairment), we must be given education for disabled client because in intellectual disability they have a problem in learning so that they need extra support. We have to promote alternative education to the young client by providing awareness programmer and involving in different service. The caregiver also needs to inform about how support will be provided.

Right protective and justice

All people have the right to be treated respectfully which means we have to call them by their preferred name and considering their culture when giving care and providing support. They have the right to get quality health care without discrimination because of race, religion, gender and national origin. Caregiver must provide fair treatment and care with respect and dignity; they have the right to know about their condition and care plan. They have the right to complain if they are not satisfied with the care plan and service. They have a right to make their own choice and decision about their care and treatment which they are received, as long as those decisions are within the boundaries of the law.  Because of the impairment, people didn’t speak up for their right and didn’t get justice. In this situation, the caregiver should provide their right and justice by supporting them without discrimination because of their impairment as the same base as another client. (Ministry of social Development, 2016)

The caregiver should give the same opportunity to access goods and services in a similar way as other clients. We should provide a fully accessible telephone service to the client. We can offer to the client to communicate by email if telephone communication is not suitable because the different client has a different disability like sensory impairment. We should give fully accessible to use assistive devices to maintain independence. We should give full access to goods, housekeeping service, transportation and social activities without any discrimination. We have to provide access to support care including, emergency call system, bathing, dressing and needed assistance with eating, walking and toileting by maintaining the client safety.

The caregiver should give equal respect to the disable people as same as other non-disable clientsThe attitude contributes to the client’s quality of life by the way you communicate with and support people. Sometime caregiver ignore disable client and didn’t give quality support as same as non-disable client because of their impairment.  (Careerforce, 2011)
