The Complete University Guide’s 2018 League Table has been announced
The top UK universities 2018 rankings look at several factors to calculate a university’s total score – entry standards, student satisfaction, graduate prospects and research quality.
Just like previous years, the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford claimed the top two spots. Cambridge has held its number one spot since 2012 and Oxford has ranked second for the last four years.

Compared with the 2017 rankings, the rest of the universities that made the top 10 haven’t changed, but their ranking order has. St. Andrews climbed two spots to claim third place, and University College London moved up three places from 10th to 7th. Two London universities – the London School of Economics and Imperial College London – both moved down a place each, while Loughborough University fell three places.

The biggest overall movers this year were the University of West London and De Montfort University. West London climbed an impressive 26 places from 106th to 80th, while De Montfort fell from 54th to 82nd.
